People do appreciate the one who is doing well in his/her life but always criticise the opponent . Have you been there anytime in the latter's place?
I was, for many times. Believe me its a bad experience every time . You do nothing & you're scolded but if you do everything to make it perfect still you are scolded . In other way, you think people have the tendency of scolding you?
No ,they don't. They criticise you because you will improve more. have you ever noticed who criticises you the most? please don't say ...FRIENDS..they never .
it is your "PARENTS".
They want you to improve good and prove

I say let them do that. Let people criticise you, do wrong and let others correct you, scold you for doing it wrong. That is how, you will learn to be PERFECT...
